Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. You will advocate for patients and support an exceptional patient experience across pre- and post-operative nursing care.

Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, performing provider-ordered procedures, documenting care promptly and thoroughly, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining up-to-date

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact license with Texas RN requirements within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by the provider; administer medications and monitor response.
• Document care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
