Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is hiring a Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team. You will use the nursing process to provide therapeutic care and coordinate patient education with families in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include completing thorough nursing assessments, developing plans of care, administering medications, documenting care, and coordinating discharge planning with case managers. CA RN BSN preferred; ACLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BSN and RN license in California.
• Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient hospital experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow policies.
• Knowledge of nursing process, patient assessment, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the Nursing Process at admission and shifts.
• Develop and revise Plans of Care with individualized interventions.
• Administer medications and IV therapy per policy.
• Document care accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Collaborate with Case Manager for discharge planning.
