Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Telemetry on a full-time basis. The unit handles complex medical cardiac cases with renal, GI, GU involvement, including dialysis. The RN will cover 7a-7p shifts on a 46-bed unit with patient-centered care.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program, IL RN license, BLS and ACLS (or within 3 months of hire). New grads with NCLEX eligibility are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Illinois.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and ACLS (or obtained within 3 months of hire).
• New Grad RN with NCLEX test date/eligibility considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards and procedures.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision making while communicating effectively to ensure patient safety and high quality experience.
