Job summary

Summa Health System – Akron Campus seeks an RN for the 4N Medical Unit. The role covers 36 hours per week, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday. You’ll care for a blended-acuity population focusing on cardiac telemetry and acute-on-chronic conditions.

The unit offers 30 beds and a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a night/weekend differential and a residency program for new grads. Ohio RN license required.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a blended-acuity medical unit.
• Assess and monitor patients; respond to changes and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
