Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN at East Campus Telemetry to join the 5th Floor Telemetry unit. The position supports adult medical/surgical patients requiring higher monitoring and telemetry with a focus on clinical judgment and autonomous nursing care.

The RN will work on nights in a fast-paced environment, providing compassionate patient care, critical thinking, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BLS and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to UCSD ART within six months.
• Minimum one year of inpatient acute care RN Telemetry experience.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.
• Telemetry experience or higher acuity preferred.
