Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is seeking an RN for the DOU/Tele/PCU on a full-time, 12-hour night shift. The 36-bed unit provides telemetry and stepdown care with private rooms and emphasizes teamwork, quality outcomes, and patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of telemetry experience and CA RN license with BLS, plus English proficiency; ACLS, NIHSS, and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN License.
• One year of telemetry experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care.
• Implement the plan of care and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate care with the care team and ensure patient outcomes.
