Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc.’s Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit. This full-time, 12-hour day shift position reports to the Critical Care Services Director and supports high-acuity patient care in a community hospital setting.

The RN delivers direct care, coordinates plans from admission through discharge, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including CDPH and TJC requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• New graduates welcome, or 1 year acute care experience preferred.
• Current CA RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• EKG certification required.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry RN provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
• The RN plans and coordinates care from admission through post-discharge, meeting regulatory requirements and quality initiatives.
• Collaborates with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care, safety, and service.

Education

BSN preferred

New graduates welcome, or 1 year acute care experience preferred

Current CA RN license

Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required

EKG certification required
