Job summary

Northwest Healthcare’s Oro Valley Hospital Telemetry Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. The telemetry RN will monitor cardiac function, administer heart medications, and participate in patient education and care planning.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants. Our 30-bed Telemetry unit focuses on cardiovascular monitoring and provides a pathway to critical care through professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in state (or compact)
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience
• ACLS/BCLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Monitor telemetry, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in unit operations.
