Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Largo, Maryland. The RN-Telemetry will provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, using critical thinking to respond to rapid changes, while following nursing standards and policies.

The setting is healthcare facilities with a 36-hour week and a pay rate of $2,400 per week. Current RN license in the state, telemetry experience preferred, CPR as applicable, and compliance with

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience in Telemetry preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in patient coordination.

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumesthe responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetrypatients. The RN – Telemetrydemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner, with supervision. TheRN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in thecoordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursingstandards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assistingothers in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
