Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
- Experience with Epic is preferred.
- Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units.
- Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
- Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
- Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre‑employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on‑boarding process.

- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with common medical conditions including DM, HTN, CAD, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmia.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No on-call required.
Floating Requirements: Float within scope as needed by the facility to meet facility needs.
Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission; all RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.
- AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24 hrs or the offer must be declined.

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN - Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
- One year experience in Telemetry Preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
