Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an RN for Med Surg/Telemetry assignments in Sylmar, CA. The traveler provides medical-surgical care with continuous cardiac monitoring, making clinical judgments under supervision to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, at least 1 year in Medical-Surgical with Telemetry, CPR when applicable, and health compliance per contract. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage and 401(k) options.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements; must be at least 18 years of age.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN assumes the responsibilityand accountability for delivery of patient care of medical-surgical patientswith a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and medical conditions. The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner, with supervision.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN exhibits critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistentlyperforms according to nursing standards while remaining accountable forproviding patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
• One year experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetrypreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
