Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium work, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and document outcomes accurately.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patient health and rights.
• Provide patient/family education based on learning needs and assess teaching effectiveness.
