Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a registered professional nurse to deliver patient care on a dedicated shift, coordinate the nursing plan of care, carry out physician orders and ensure nursing standards of care using the nursing process. The role also guides and directs other members of the patient care team.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or associate degree, an active RN license (Virginia or Compact), CPR certification, and ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required.
• RN license in Virginia or Compact state.
• CPR certification and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• BSN/MSN preferred for advancement.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift.
• Coordinate the nursing plan of care and ensure physician orders are followed.
• Adhere to nursing standards of care using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide other members of the patient care team.
