Job summary

Texas Health Resources Rockwall, TX is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) Telemetry for full-time nights. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, assist with activities of daily living, feeding, bathing, and transfers, and support a fast-paced telemetry unit.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to care plans. Applicants should have a high school diploma and PCT-related training; EMT or nursing student status may be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of PCT experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, or THR-approved program; not required to maintain certification at hire.
• BCLS training is required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually, 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist in admission/transfer/discharge and patient transports.
• Document accurately and report significant findings to nurses.
• Maintain safe, clean patient environments and coordinate with the care team.
