Job summary

Texas Health Rockwall is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for full-time night shifts at our Rockwall, TX location. You will support the nursing team by providing essential patient care and daily living activities, with rotating weekends and holidays.

We value teamwork and patient safety, offering a fast-paced environment and opportunities to participate in unit committees. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are required, with THR-approved training upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of PCT experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, THR approved program required upon hire.
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care; CPI training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient transfers.
• Maintain patient environment and safety; document care provided.
• Collaborate with nurses to individualize patient care plans.
