Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is hiring a Part Time PCA for the Telemetry unit (5 South) in Lancaster, PA. The 5 South unit cares for patients with acute and chronic conditions, often requiring cardiac monitoring.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification prior to orientation. Preferred: healthcare setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, contributes to patient care activities and related non-professional services for patient comfort.
• Unit 5 South is a fast-paced telemetry unit with broad medical conditions and continuous cardiac monitoring, offering opportunities to develop assessment and critical-thinking skills.
