Job summary

University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for UH Truman Medical Center Telemetry 3 Red in Kansas City, Missouri. This part-time position (24 hours per week) requires evening shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) on a two-day-per-week schedule.

Responsibilities include providing top-tier patient care in an acute setting, developing skills through training, and collaborating with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to uphold our high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BCLS certification at hire and must remain current.
• UAP training or equivalent per regulatory requirements or accepted alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an acute care setting as part of a nursing team.
• Develop and apply technical skills through formal training.
