Job summary

University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the 3 Red Telemetry unit at Truman Medical Center. This part-time role, evenings 6:45PM–7:15AM, involves providing hands-on patient care and collaborating with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and current BCLS certification. UAP training or equivalent regulatory training may be required, with leadership review for exceptions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current BCLS certification at hire; must be kept current for continued employment.
• UAP training or the training requirements will be waived if an employee demonstrates competency in content areas required by regulatory requirements.
• Has completed a professional or licensed practical nursing program or equivalent, if applicable; exceptions reviewed by Nursing Leadership.
