Job summary

Texas Health Hospital Rockwall is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Telemetry on the night shift. You will support nursing staff, assist patients with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, PCT training, and CPR/BCLS certification. EMI/CTP training accepted; multiple paths to certification are noted. Join a multidisciplinary team committed to excellent patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year PCT experience in acute care preferred.
• PCT Training Program or THR approved program required upon Hire if certification applicable.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care.
• CPI training required annually; 90 days validity.
• EMT-B or equivalent training or foreign nurse with PCT skills may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing).
• Move patients and reposition to ensure comfort and safety.
• Enter orders and document care accurately in the system.
