Job summary

Baylor Regional Medical Center, Grapevine, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator to handle clerical and patient care tasks under a licensed nurse's supervision in the Telemetry unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data and vital signs; reports to nursing team.
• Assists patients with daily activities and hygiene.
• Maintains patient records and unit supplies.
• Greet visitors, answer phones, and coordinate staff communication.
• Transport patients and run errands as needed.
• Ensure clean bedside units and equipment.
