Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH ST. PETERS HOSPITAL is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support patient safety in a team-based environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and CNA certification. Work hours are 36 per week, with day shifts, holiday rotation, and every third weekend duties as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CNA certification.
• Experience in direct patient care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under nurse supervision; assists with ADLs and monitors patient comfort.
• Records vital information and reports changes to the nurse.
• Educates patients and families; maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available to meet patient needs.
• Supports safety and quality initiatives in daily clinical tasks.
