Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed staff. responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vitals, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role supports a patient-centered care environment at multiple Siteman locations, with a 40-hour work week, daytime hours, and a schedule of Monday through Friday, no holidays and no weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
• No prior experience required as per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs and vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education and documents care activities.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment for patient needs.
• Promotes patient safety and participates in quality and regulatory compliance.
