Job summary

The Observation unit at Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is a 20-bed unit where patients are cared for with telemetry, stroke and ACLS expertise. The role assists in patient care under RN supervision, upholding nursing standards and unit policies to ensure quality care close to home.

Preferred candidates have a High School/GED and Maryland CNA certification (CNA-I or CNA-II). Basic Life Support is required, with additional cardiac arrhythmia recognition as applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support required.
• Current Maryland CNA certification (CNA-I or CNA-II) required.
• Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a variety of patient care duties under the supervision of the RN.
• Maintain nursing care standards and follow unit, hospital and Nursing Department policies.
