Job summary

Jefferson Abington is seeking a Registered Nurse in Telemetry for night shifts on a full-time basis. Two 12-hour shifts from 7PM to 7AM with rotational weekends and holidays, located at Abington.

The nurse will apply the nursing process to meet the diverse needs of patients and families, while collaborating with an inter-professional team. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-family-centered care, and ongoing professional growth within Jefferson Health's safety and quality

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred or completed within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year RN acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in PA required.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients.
• Develop nursing care plans with patient and designated care partner(s).
• Collaborate within inter-professional teams and participate in safety/quality improvement activities.
• Educate patients and families, and ensure effective discharge planning.
