Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) to provide high-acuity inpatient care in a small-format hospital setting.

You will assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support critically ill patients, including ventilated cases.

RN license required, 2+ years telemetry/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred; strong cardiac/respiratory skills and teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and an associate degree or nursing diploma.
• 2+ years RN experience in telemetry/ICU or related areas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, infusion and respiratory support skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position:

Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) in a small-format hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care, including managing high-acuity inpatient cases, cardiac and respiratory therapies, and supporting critically ill patients. Perform lab testing, admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and support stabilization efforts for ventilated or complex patients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Current RN licensure with no sanctions
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in telemetry, ICU, or related areas
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, infusion management, and respiratory support
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
