The role involves caring for higher-acuity patients with cardiac and hypertensive conditions, supporting BiPAP/High-Flow therapy, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or nursing diploma required.
• Current RN license with no sanctions.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
• Managing higher-acuity inpatient patients, including cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions
• Supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and high-flow oxygen
• Responding to changing patient conditions, including ventilated patients awaiting transfer
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and supporting telemedicine communication
• Performing lab testing, admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
• Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and adherence to infection control protocols
