Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Temporary Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team on the Telemetry floor. The role supports clerical tasks and basic nursing care under supervision, with a 12-hour day shift and a PRN, varied schedule.

The position requires a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing and a BLS certification; CNA experience in acute care is preferred, and the ability to care for patients across all age groups

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from any approved source at hire.
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to care for all age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform various nursing care services under supervision of the licensed nurse.
