Job summary

Valley Health is hiring a Cardiac Monitor Technician for a per diem, part-time role in Winchester, Virginia. You will monitor patient heart rhythms, respond to alarms, and report changes to nursing staff while maintaining accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and CPR certification (preferred). Experience with telemetry and rhythm interpretation is valued, and training is provided during orientation.

Qualifications

• Interprets cardiac rhythms and notifies nurses of changes.
• Maintains monitor accuracy and updates logs every 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Explains telemetry equipment and procedure to patients/families.
• Monitors multiple patients and responds to alarms promptly.
• Assists in training others on telemetry equipment and rhythm interpretation.
