Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician for night shift to monitor cardiac rhythms and ensure patient safety across central monitoring and floor units. The position requires a high school diploma, fluency in English, and completion of required arrhythmia training within the first 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English at a high school level.
• Must successfully complete a basic arrhythmia class within first 30 days of employment.
• Must complete an arrhythmia competency test with passing score during annual education.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for a group of patients in the Central Monitoring Area.
• Observe patients remotely using continuous tele-visual monitoring to assure safety.
• Document rhythms and patient interactions in logs and reports.
• Deliver telemetry equipment and assist nursing staff with monitor setup and patient teaching.
