Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes and interprets patient telemetry monitors, accurately recording rhythm strips at established intervals.
• Identifies rhythm changes and promptly notifies the nurse or licensed personnel.
• Maintains effective communication with peers, staff, physicians, and leaders to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with monitoring equipment; escalates unresolved problems as directed.
• Organizes and tracks monitoring equipment during the shift and ensures proper configuration for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensures accurate lead placement and electrode application for optimal telemetry monitoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
