Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a part-time Inpatient Central Monitoring Services technician in York, PA. The role monitors cardiac rhythms and vital signs using specialized software, documents findings in the EHR, and communicates changes to care providers. Position requires on-site work, evening/night schedule, and weekend rotation.

Eligible for shift differential, with orientation on day schedule initially. Minimum 24 hours per week year-round; not seasonal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Successful completion of EKG course and competency exam.
• Rhythm analysis training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients for changes in cardiac rhythm, oxygenation, or other vital signs.
• Respond to alarms and communicate changes to care staff.
• Document rhythm interpretations in the EHR.
• Enter tickets for equipment or application malfunctions.
• Provide break coverage and support to team as needed.
