Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
• Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
• Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintain telemetry supplies and maintain patient records per hospital policy.
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary departments and other customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized workplace and acquire/maintain correct knowledge in hospital/unit information.
• Operate computer systems as necessary.
