Shift times and length: 24 hrs per week, 6:30 pm - 7:00 am, 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday nights.

General Duties: Under general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms or patients in special care units via telemetry equipment. Performs related clerical duties such as answering routine questions and relaying calls.

Job Description: Telemetry Monitor Technician monitors all patients on telemetry across 2 12-unit sections within the Heart Hospital at Edward Hospital — including the 2nd floor, 12 units on the 3rd floor, and all the 8th floor, totaling a maximum of 70 patients (assuming all are on telemetry). The role is hybrid, allowing staff to work as a monitor tech or patient care tech.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience or telemetry certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: 3-6 months of healthcare or monitor tech experience preferred.

License Required: N/A

Certificates Required: CPR from AHA or Red Cross required.
