Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Monitor Technician to support telemetry monitoring and patient status reporting in a fast-paced hospital unit. You will observe ECG patterns, document events, and promptly alert nursing staff to abnormalities while ensuring patient safety and equipment readiness.

The role requires good communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of a 12-hour shift schedule. BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm patterns.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office familiarity.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Completion of arrhythmia identification course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and document events.
• Notify nursing staff of abnormalities promptly.
• Maintain monitor alarms and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure clean equipment and adherence to infection control.
• Support department quality standards and initiatives.
