Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in setup and use of telemetry monitoring equipment.
• Collects, reports, and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
• Seeks assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm identification.
• Serves as a patient advocate.
• Uses Professional Practice Model to work with patients, families, physicians, peers, and all disciplines.
• Maintains professional interpersonal relationships with patients, families, coworkers, physicians, and other customers.

Work hours: PRN- Days. Availability within 7:00Am - 7:00Pm rotating Friday and Saturday every other week.

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
• Basic Understanding/ability to learn medical terminology

What You Will Do

• Demonstrates competency in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.
• Collects, reports, and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
• Seeks assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.
• Serves as a patient advocate.
• Uses Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers, and all other disciplines.
• Practices acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co- workers, physicians, all disciplines, and other customers.
