Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Basic EKG Monitoring Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythm strips every 4 hours and report changes to Primary Care Nurse.
• Operate monitor system, speaker and phone systems; document rhythm changes.
• Maintain patient charts, prep records for the Medical Surgical Unit and assist staff as needed.
