Job summary

The MT is responsible for accurate paper chart maintenance and aiding in order entry and navigation of the electronic health record, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer skills and familiarity with patient data systems.
• Ability to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely and competently perform assigned monitor duties.
• Coordinate communication between caregivers, departments, patients, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate paper medical records.
• Assist with order entry and navigating the electronic medical record.
• Support patient admission, transfer and discharge activities.

Skills
