UK King's Daughters in Ashland, KY, is seeking a Monitor Tech to conduct ongoing surveillance and interpretation of patients' cardiac rhythms on monitors, notify clinicians of changes, and support patient safety.

You will assist with hook-up and discharge, document in the EMR, provide patient teaching on cardiac monitoring, and help mentor new team members in a busy telemetry unit. This is an on-site, full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of experience in healthcare or a clinical setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct ongoing surveillance and interpretation of patients' cardiac rhythms on monitors.
• Notify RNs and clinicians immediately of rhythm changes.
• Deliver telemetry to nursing units and prepare monitor hookups and discharge.
• Provide patient teaching related to cardiac monitoring.
• Document and maintain accurate records in EMR and logs.
• Mentor new team members and support training.
