Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and standards. You will utilize the nursing process to plan and coordinate care for the appropriate patient population.

You will initiate, monitor, and revise interdisciplinary care plans, document comprehensively, and educate patients and families across the continuum of care. Precepting responsibilities may be involved, along with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR - American Heart Association.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• HIPAA privacy compliance as per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care for the appropriate age group.
• Initiates, monitors, and revises interdisciplinary care plans based on assessments and physician orders.
• Completes comprehensive patient documentation supporting interdisciplinary communication.
• Provides teaching to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• May precept and support the development of students and new staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
