Job summary

Palmetto-General-Hospital in Florida is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care on Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or Step Down units. Qualifications

• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Telemetry course or experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the NCSBN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or Step Down units.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians promptly and accurately.
• Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
