Job summary

Qualifications

• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Telemetry course/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or Step Down units.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians with diagnostic results and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Participate in CQI and performance improvement activities.
