Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an LPN to join our team. The role provides patient-centered care under supervision, assists with data collection, and helps with planning and evaluation of outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program, SC or compact state licensure, BLS, and a preference for 1 year LPN experience. Work hours are 36 per week on three 12-hour shifts at Tower (DMC).

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN in the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC CPR) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care under supervision.
• Assist with data collection, formulation of care plans, and evaluation of nursing actions.
• Care for a defined patient population and support the Charge Nurse as needed.
