Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Telemetry LPN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry/acute care unit at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. The role includes cardiac monitoring, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and documentation.

Qualifications

• State license required.
• BLS certification on hire.
• IV certification on hire (state-specific).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, identifying and reporting abnormalities
• Assess, record, and document vital signs and patient status accurately in the medical record
• Notify clinical staff of significant changes in patient condition or telemetry readings
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide basic care support
• Educate patients and families on telemetry monitoring and collaborate with RNs to support care delivery

Hours: 12-hour shifts- 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
