Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Telemetry LPN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry/acute care unit.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, assess vital signs, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care. This role requires state licensure, BLS, and IV certification upon hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, identifying and reporting abnormalities.
• Assess, record, and document vital signs and patient status accurately in the medical record.
• Notify clinical staff of significant changes in patient condition or telemetry readings.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide basic care support.
• Educate patients and families on telemetry monitoring and collaborate with RNs to support care delivery.

Hours:

12-hour shifts- 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Location: St. Mary's Medical Center- Blue Springs, MO

We are seeking a Telemetry LPN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry/acute care unit. This role includes cardiac monitoring, assessment of vital signs, medication administration, and documentation. The Telemetry LPN monitors patient conditions, reports changes promptly, and collaborates with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
