Job summary

Pinnacle Healthcare, LLC in Indiana is seeking a qualified registered nurse to promote and restore patient health by delivering individualized care using the nursing process. You will work closely with the healthcare team to monitor and educate patients on procedures and treatments, particularly on telemetry units.

The ideal candidate holds Indiana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 2+ years on telemetry, with BSN preferred and CCRN/IV cert advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana.
• Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS can be acquired within department guidelines).
• Two or more years recent experience on telemetry unit.
• Completed basic EKG class.
• BSN preferred; two or more years with Med-Surg or surgical critical care experience; CCRN and IV certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Monitor patient status on telemetry, record significant conditions and notify the healthcare team as needed.
• Educate patients on procedures and treatments to gain cooperation and understanding.
