Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Telemetry to support NASA NSROC at Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. You will design, integrate, test, and support sounding rocket telemetry systems throughout the mission life cycle, including PCM encoding, RF hardware, ground interfaces, and field operations.

The role involves generating documentation, handling system-level troubleshooting, and collaborating with multiple teams and customers across missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 2+ years in telemetry, instrumentation, data acquisition or RF systems.
• Experience with electrical and RF test instrumentation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, test, and support field operations for telemetry systems.
• Configure PCM encoders, data acquisition hardware, RF transmitters and antennas.
• Troubleshoot using electrical and RF test equipment and document results.
• Lead design and development activities and support multiple missions.
