Job summary

Corvid Technologies seeks an experienced telemetry engineer to design and integrate telemetry systems for real-time data acquisition during test events such as flight tests and ground tests. The role focuses on configuring IRIG-106 formats and supporting field operations across launches and vehicle runs.

Requirements include a US citizenship with Secret clearance, a STEM bachelor's degree, and 8+ years in telemetry tasks. Proficiency in Python/MATLAB/LabVIEW is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field and 8+ years of telemetry engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of RF technologies including link budgets, antennas and SNR.
• Experience with PCM telemetry, Ground Station setup, IRIG timing, and data protocols (RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet).
• Experience in test operations and real-time troubleshooting; aerospace telemetry preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW; IP networking and basic admin (Windows/Linux) beneficial.
• Working knowledge of WOSA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot IRIG-106 telemetry formats.
• Support field operations during live testing, launches, flight tests, or vehicle runs.
• Configure telemetry platforms (Dewesoft, Curtiss-Wright, Safran, L3Harris) and integrate systems.
• Develop test procedures, acceptance tests, and system validation plans.
• Generate engineering docs, wiring diagrams, architecture drawings, and post-test reports.
