Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a Nursing Assistant to support telemetry patients at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. This full-time opportunity includes 36 hours per week with weekday night shifts and a 0.9 FTE, plus every third weekend and partial holiday commitments.

You will assist with daily patient care, document vitals in EMR, and support RN-led admissions and transfers. Benefits eligible and dedicated to career growth through Total Rewards.

Formación

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Participates in admissions, transfers and discharge preparation.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintains stock for nursing area and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Performs patient positioning and transport as needed with proper technique.
• Maintains skin integrity and uses compression devices as required.
• May remove IVs or provide post-mortem care under RN direction.
• Follows infection prevention and PPE procedures consistently.
• Delivers age-appropriate care and adapts to patient needs.
