Job summary

Required CNA with BLS and CPI within 30 days of hire, preferred telemetry experience, and a High School diploma or equivalent. The position requires flexibility to work a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift and may involve 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred hospital and telemetry experience.
• CNA certification, BLS and CPI must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Provides patient care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety needs for the age group served.
• Communicates patient care needs with patients, families, and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
• Adapts communication to the patient population and requests permissions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
