Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team on the 4-3 Telemetry Medical IP Nursing unit. You will assist with direct patient care under the Registered Nurse, perform unit clerical tasks, and help maintain a safe, confidential environment for patients and families.

The role requires IL CNA certification, CPR certification, and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certified.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing assistance to patients under the supervision of the RN.
• Complete patient care timely per plan of care with RN.
• Complete documentation according to hospital policy.
• Perform clerical/receptionist functions on the nursing units.
• Promote a clean and safe environment of care using error prevention habits.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in all patient matters.
